Owners Sipho and Thandiwe Mokoena, long-time residents of Kempton Park, envisioned 'The Daily Grind' as more than just a place to grab a quick caffeine fix. "We saw a real need in Rhodesfield for a comfortable, modern space where people could relax, hold casual meetings, or simply enjoy a good cup of coffee," says Sipho Mokoena. "We've focused on sourcing local beans and fresh ingredients for our pastries and sandwiches, ensuring everything we serve is of the highest quality and supports other local businesses."
The menu features a range of artisanal coffees, from rich espressos to creamy lattes, alongside a selection of teas, fresh juices, and smoothies. For those looking for a bite, 'The Daily Grind' offers freshly baked goods, light breakfasts, and a rotating lunch menu that includes gourmet sandwiches and salads. The interior boasts a contemporary design with comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi, catering to both the quick grab-and-go customer and those looking to linger.
